I think it’s nice to have the translation of the entire album consistently written with my own style. Likewise, I will be revising my translations of other songs with what I learned for the past year since my initial translation. Eve is one of my fav albums, so it’s a pleasure!

I have already been working on this, but I decided go finish the work left unfinished from last year: a full translation of the eve album by Albemuth
I didn’t translate To the new world and Red Baptism back then, because there already are official translations. But what I learned

@hakase_rei Nuances are always imperfect with all translations, but I try my best to paraphrase my translations (instead of a direct translation) to hopefully invoke the same effect

Translating Iori Kanzaki’s lyrics just feel like a completely different experience than translating other lyricists…

The emotions packed into lyrics are just really difficult to convey effectively in English, so it’s really arduous… but at the same time, it is so rewarding.
