In Woodland School this afternoon some children from Year 6 used both the palm drills and also the hand drill when making wood cookie necklaces. Well done all!
In Woodland School today we were lucky enough to see two dragonflies, whizzing around above the log circle. We also spotted a baby robin, calling for the parent to come and feed it. We also had very good views of a red admiral butterfly.
In Woodland School this afternoon, some children from Year 1 learnt how to use a palm drill safely, to make a hole in a wood cookie, for a necklace. Great determination was required! We decorated the wood cookie with felt pens. More photos on the HTSJ Woodland School page...
In Woodland School today, Zac in Year 2 found this bright green grasshopper that just did not want to leave Zac alone!! Every time that Zac tried to pop the grasshopper onto a leaf, he hopped back onto Zac again!!
In Woodland School this afternoon, the whole of Osprey class came up with Mrs Bullard as a special treat. We had cheese and tomato quesadillas cooked on the camp fire and Charlie and Ellie were the "Ninja waiters" delivering the food to everyone! Yum!!
We are proud of our winner of the Trinity Trophy in Osprey class. Well done for producing a beautiful piece of independent work on the lifecycle of the bee, all meticulously drawn and labelled.
In Woodland School, Charlie and Tobiah from Dragonfly decided to turn the woodpecker logs into a hotel for some of the Woodland teddies, inside the DD tarp shelter so that it was protected from the weather. Well done boys!
