It’s “Guess that Baby” day in 6th grade!! As we build upon our time capsules we enjoy a sweet game of guessing each other’s baby pic. This non-competitive, yet adorable game allows us to enjoy our childhood from our infant days up to being young ladies and gentlemen!

Knights of Columbus has given us our topic this school year asking what virtues make for a great leader. We practiced with naming a leader we respect and jotting down reasons for our choices. This student chose Mr. Mo!

As an introduction to research writing, I demonstrated the necessity of backing claims with fact-based evidence. I presented a case for insects being added to our food pyramid. Many students said they wouldn’t eat one but I proved them wrong (they all thought I had real bugs)! 🤭

Mitchell’s ice cream day was a blast! What a fun experience to close out the 2023-2024 school year. I have sincerely enjoyed your 6th graders this year. It is only appropriate that we end it on a sweet note! Have a safe, relaxing and fun summer! See you next school year!!
