Year 2 had fun when they created a large scale scene from the Great Fire of London. They worked as a team and combined their History and Art skills to learn all about Pudding Lane and the impact of the fire.

This week we were lucky enough to have the Life Education Centre visiting. This afternoon it was Year 2's turn where they learnt about feelings and healthy choices. Thank you to Stephen and Harold, we all enjoyed it!

Today in EYFS we said farewell to our friends Boris, Buttercup, Lucky, Knuckles and Popcorn. The children wrote their own goodbye notes to the ducklings. We have loved looking after them and watching them grow! 🦆

In RE, Year 2 created their own artwork linked to the Bible story of ‘Jacob’s Dream’ in Genesis (28:10-12). It was messy but fun! 👼🧑‍🎨

Year 2 have created their own paintings in the style of the American artist Mark Rothko. They had to mix their own colours to create their masterpieces. 🎨👨‍🎨 #markrothko
