🔥 It was a pleasure to meet two of my mentees today.
🔥 Two young vibrant men with a lot of promises.
🔥 I signed a good contract with one while the other one acted as a witness.
👉 We need to trust our mentees and empower them to achieve their potential!

I am dedicating this Sunday praying for our Professor @RubabindaJr, the @TheUMAofficial and our young intern doctors. We have a duty to facilitate interns to do their work.
“Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain.”. Deuteronomy 25:4
what exactly are we implying—that interns kill patients?
This is honestly demotivating coming from the Minister of Health, especially someone who has been through the same profession.
What message are we sending to the next generation of doctors?
#PayAllMedicalinterns
Medical interns are not students. They are graduates of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBCHB). Internship is one year period that prepares them to become registered as professional doctors. During internship they do the actual work doctors do but under supervision. They must be paid. We should not support discrimination. It's time for medical interns to stand together till the end. Some matters require discussion and negotiation and not intimididation or threats. Let interns be heard. Let @Uma_Oficial be given an audience with the President of Uganda just like he has met teachers and university lecturers in the past. This matter is so important not to be swept under the carpet.
Hon. Baryomunsi said that intern doctors are doctors with their names written in pencil. 😮💨
But all this, surely? What did we do to deserve all this? 😥
We trained for years, sacrificed so much, and now we are treated as though our service and profession mean nothing. Internship is part of our journey to becoming fully licensed doctors. it should not be a period of uncertainty, exploitation, and disregard.
We deserve clarity, dignity, and fair treatment. ✊🏽
It’s like it’s a curse to sturdy medicine in Uganda 😌🤦🏽
Now Why arrest us when we are simply just fighting for our rights as medical interns😌, what do gain from tormenting us , we literally work for 36 hours and more and expect us not be given any allowances😌.

Come let's join and support the Preinterns as they express their displeasure about the precarious state that their future has been placed.
I will be there, could you please join us, Thursday Juky 30, 2026 at the Mulago Guest House.

When thousands were hurting, one voice refused to go quiet.
Professor .Dr. Frank Asiimwe has demonstrated to us that true leadership is not measured by the position, but by the people you are willing to stand for.
To the interns who felt unheard, to the young doctors whose hopes were tested, and to a profession fighting to preserve its dignity,he chose to stand with us.
Thank you, Professor. Dr.Frank Asiimwe, for reminding us what leadership looks like when it truly matters.
The struggle continues,🙏💪
Stand for people. Stand for justice. Stand for the profession🩺
