Bonnie Pollock, a sixth-grade teacher in Bentonville, is named a Milken Educator Award winner! She received $25,000 dollars to honor her achievements. She became the second Bentonville School District employee in the last three years to receive the award!
Derek Tharp, a teacher at Batesville's Southside Middle School, was recognized as a Milken Educator Award Recipient! He was awarded $25,000 dollars to honor his exemplary commitment to his students and community. The Milken Educator Award recognizes outstanding teachers.
This 33-hour master's program is online and available to licensed teachers in Arkansas seeking qualifications to teach special education in K-12. Adding two courses to this degree will enable a teacher to obtain a dyslexia endorsement as well!
