hudson williams is the worst example you could use for the whole “but you wouldn’t treat a female celebrity like this” argument. setting aside the fact that a huge part of the hate he gets is rooted in racism, he’s someone who gets bullied for literally breathing. what’s even funnier is that the people making these arguments almost never apply the same logic when it’s one of their favorite male celebrities. he’s constantly scrutinized, targeted, and subjected to racist abuse. that isn’t the gotcha you people think it is. it’s pretty clear that the standards change depending on who it is and you’re doing exactly what you’re calling out
