Why do we celebrate someone called St. Patrick, and what does the shamrock have to do with it? Ireland's national flower is the shamrock, a three-leaf clover, and legend has it that St. Patrick used it to explain the Trinity to a non-believer.

Congratulations to Morgan Proffitt! Morgan has been granted a prestigious Seminary Fellowship as she pursues a Master of Divinity program at the Princeton Theological Seminary. Only 12 admitted students receive this lucrative award, which provides full-tuition plus $4,000.

Congrats to Laura Faye Weber and Mary Grace Golden for presenting for the Society for Personality and Social Psychology Convention!
Golden presented preliminary findings from her honors thesis, which will be completed next year, and Weber from her honors capstone project.

Look at what just a week of difference can make! The Honors House was covered in snow last week and is now surrounded by what might be the beginning of spring. We are glad to be back with the student and look forward to your visits!

The mid-week slumps are always difficult to navigate, but we have faith in our students! It can be rough to work through the weeks in the middle of the semester, but you are doing a wonderful job of it. Keep it up!
