NYS and Cuomo need to understand that he is speaking here about three completely different industries, weddings, restaurants and art/entertainment venues. Blending them together in a press release is impossible to keep straight.

@NYGovCuomo The wedding and event industry, along with the couples need clear and concise guidelines now. The NYS DOH is telling clients, county executives and other vendors their interpretation of the guidelines. Put them out now!!
@NYGovCuomo Must be nice to even have the option to get a vaccine, there are no state run vaccination sites in between Westchester and Albany. Only county run which do not allow all approved, only select ones. So no restaurant workers. Abandoned again.
@NYGovCuomo We need wedding guidelines now, we only have 24 days left till we can allow 150 guests with testing and restrictions. We need time to prepare. Give us guidelines now.
@NYGovCuomo just had two New York weddings move to Connecticut. The sales tax that NY just lost and the longer drive for me is really pissing me off.
Give us guidelines before all of my clients leave NY.
@NYGovCuomo 25 days left till March 15th when we are supposed to open up weddings to 150 guests, with no guidelines. Testing? Ok how? Dancing? Maybe, maybe not? We need to know now. Don't give us impossible guidelines days before #savetheweddingindustry
@NYGovCuomo@nypost@_newyorktimes_@TODAYshow In 26 days weddings will be able to reopen in NY, with no guidelines. Cuomo is going to wait to the very last minute to give us the most difficult rules. We have lost all of 2020 and now half of 2021. Help!
And there goes two August weddings moving to 2022. @NYGovCuomo you need to make weddings happen, the restrictions you have in place are pushing everyone away. #saveourweddingindustry#savenyweddings
@NYGovCuomo The wedding industry needs guidelines now, we lost the entire spring and now the summer is starting to bail. The longer you wait, the more weddings leave, the more money you pay me to be on unemployment. #saveourweddingindustry
@jennsinrich@brides This article was written and published prematurely. There is no way to say that the Department of Health has to authorize every event. The guidelines have not come out yet from NYS. All you have done is create panic and couples are cancelling, not good.
@NYGovCuomo Give us dancing at weddings. If everyone has to be tested, wear a mask, then just give us dancing and our industry will bounce back. Help us please, right now. #weneeddancing
NYS opening up for weddings again, @NYGovCuomo says 50% up to 150, testing or vaccine proof, starting March 15th. We need a reporter to ask about dancing, we need to have dancing. #saveourweddingindustry
We need higher guest counts at our weddings. The 50 person limit is not feasible for caterers, catering halls or couples. We must go to 50% just like restuarants. Help us save our industry as we have already lost 2020 and now half of 2021. @NYGovCuomo
Our wedding industry needs dancing, socially distant dancing, we are so creative that there will be ways to make this fun and safe. We need to save our industry, jobs and livelihoods. @NYGovCuomo#saveourweddingindustry
I am all about the science so let us use science to open back up the wedding and event industry. Allow us to check in with vaccine verification and rapid testing. We can save our industry. @NYGovCuomo#saveourweddingindustry
If sports arenas can open up and welcome fans, so can weddings. Wedding professionals are completely capable of organizing a guest list to verify vaccination and testing. Give us our weddings back. @NYGovCuomo#saveourweddingindustry
Ok, so give us the plan to reopen weddings. We will do the work to make this happen. We will get the guests tested and make it a safe industry. But we need the guidelines, we need it now, not in 3-4 months when more than 6 months of weddings are gone. @NYGovCuomo
