Mrs Mencers 4th grade Science classes are having a ton of fun already! Students completed a steam activity using duct tape, straws, pipe cleaners, popsicle sticks, and binder clips. The students had to make field goal posts. After, they tested them with paper footballs.

The Children's Institute visited our school today for Kids on the Block awareness assembly programs. Each assembly addressed topics that included: deafness, learning disabilities, autism, blindness and cerebral palsy. It is important for us to spread awareness and acceptance.
