Although we are nearing the end of Celebration Term that doesn't mean we don't have new books to borrow. All of the titles below arrived this morning and some had already been borrowed within the first 30 minutes of their arrival!
We have some brand new books in the Library today which were very kindly gifted by one of our Jack Petchey Achievement Award winners! Great title selections courtesy of Jacob π
In addition to a recent slightly more significant honour, our Executive Principal @JamesHandscombe has completed Gold Level and has now been conferred the title of a Sanford Scholar π
@JamesHandscombe Very much so. We even have a book exploring this further, 'One Thousand Paper Cranes, the story of Sadako and the Children's peace statue' by Takayuki Ishii!

Legacy is a timely topic this week with Year 13 study leave starting. This most precious legacy was kindly gifted to the Library by the outgoing GSA leadership. Our wonderful Progress flag was signed by members of the school community during last year's Pride celebrations π³οΈβπβ¨π³οΈββ§οΈ
We have had 53 new titles join the Library since May Day. Come and take a look at these shiny new books on the aptly named 'New Books' display! β¨π

Today we are back in the last term of this academic year. Currently 660 books from our collection are out in the wild. Don't worry though, there are still another 11,370 books waiting to be taken home! π

Lamees has worked her way through Bronze, Silver, and Gold Level showing an outstanding commitment to critical reading. She is the the first student to be awarded this title! π¦
