The #Scarecrows are excited! They’re looking forward to meeting 120 new scarecrow friends!

The routes are checked & we’re preparing Trail Numbers. We’re aiming to deliver them by noon on Wednesday (26th), but please forgive us if we don't get them to you until a later that day!

The fourth charity we’re raising funds for this year is the EARTHQUAKE EMERGENCY APPEAL. A catastrophic earthquake struck Turkey & Syria and claimed over 25,000 lives. This appeal is organised by All We Can and the Methodist Church to provide aid and relief to those in need.

The third charity we’re supporting in 2023 is REFUGEE ACTION YORK, which works with refugees, asylum seekers and migrants in York — a safe meeting point where they can get information & support, learn new skills & languages and form lasting friendships, so rebuilding their lives.

A charity we’re supporting is MARTIN HOUSE CHILDREN’S HOSPICE, who provide family led care for children with life-shortening conditions — Where children, young people and their families can stay from time to time along their journey and find support, rest and practical help.

One of the charities we're raising money for is YORK RESCUE BOAT, who are an independent lifeboat and search and rescue team based in York. They carry out combined patrols by boat and on foot at high-risk times every weekend throughout the year.
