It's #PrideMonth🌈
We must work together to break down the stigma around mental health and create a more inclusive society for ourselves and everyone around us.
We are excited to announce that we're launching Haringey Wellbeing Network's LGBTQI+ Queer Hub on the 3rd of July!
Stigma can shame people into silence. Rather than telling men to 'man up', we should encourage them to open up and share their feelings.
Let's move away from outdated stereotypes and embrace the reality that seeking help is a sign of strength and resilience.❤️
#MensHealthWeek
By practising gratitude, anxiety levels can be reduced. Start by:
1. Reducing anxiety & increasing appreciation with gratitude journalling
2. Take a walk & notice the beauty in nature
3. Deepen your connection with the now & notice things once taken for granted

It’s Men’s Health Week, remember this 🩵
Men,
It’s okay to cry.
It’s okay to show emotion.
It’s okay to be emotional.
It’s okay to feel sad.
It’s okay to be okay.
It’s okay to not be okay.
It’s okay to feel.
It’s okay to grieve.
It’s okay to tell someone you’re struggling.
It’s okay to talk.
It’s okay to struggle.
It’s okay to fail.
It’s okay to feel lost.
It’s okay to talk about your mental health.
Without the many volunteers who get involved here at Mind in Haringey, we wouldn't be able to do the work that we do. A huge thank you to each and every one of our compassionate hardworking superstars!

"…It’s comforting to know that all those people are going through the same thing, just like a little group community. There’s a comfort of knowing that these people are feeling the same way you are."
