Just watch The Blob (1988) for the first time in decades. I’d like to add it to the list of movie remakes that are better than the original. Others include The Fly and The Thing. All with gross practical effects. Practical effects rule all.

Watching the new Toxic Avenger Unrated and they nailed it. Over the top, hilarious and stupid. Kevin Bacon always a great villain. Elijah perfect. Yes it’s gory but I wouldn’t expect anything less, it’s a great B movie remake. Stupid as hell 3/5
