A draw is an upset because it changes that 3rd game; a win almost guarantees you move on and can possibly rest key players, especially with an added round due to the expanded team format. Not the biggest deal for the expected winner of the group I suppose. But certainly the expected runner up is up for grabs. Not to mention the #3 has to battle a group winner.
