@ThunderHusky17@drbrian_dpt I think he ultimately settles as an RCB in a back 3 or 4, never a wide player. He’s as athletic as he’ll ever be right now and wingback clearly isn’t suited to him
@ShaneRyanHere Agree that it had a negative emotional impact, but I fear if Pepi had started, it would’ve been just as bad or worse. He’s been tragic; Balo at least stretched the backline a few times even if nothing ultimately came of it.
@Arifromanhattan One of my favorite tweets ever. Puts into words — beautifully — what I’ve tried to convey to many people over the years who will simply never get it. It seems playing the sport for a long time is a prerequisite for appreciating the beauty, and even then not everyone does.
@ByDougMcIntyre Having listened to a few of these episodes, I’m reasonably impressed by Bob’s insights. I find that Bruce says fairly obvious things, and Gregg seems too stuck in the “American” mindset of over-indexing on “fighting for your teammates” instead of any tactical or technical nuance.
@Shak_Fu Good stoppage. Brown looked like he was out on the way down and woke up when his head hit the mat. Got hands up but he would’ve just eaten a few massive shots and then been stopped anyway
@RayHudson@CBSSports@SiriusXMFC I have cherished childhood memories listening to your commentary. You consistently made the game more passionate and enjoyable. Thank you legend🫡
@Shak_Fu Felt like Herzog stopped that too quickly, Teixeira was getting up despite getting hit a lot. At a different weight class I don’t think that’s a stoppage but Herzog was letting Lewis’ reputation precede him. Thoughts?
