My economic agenda for @CJP_2029 :
1. Investment in real economy by taking over the private wealth of Adani-Ambani class and abolish contractual job system.
2. No private hospitals and schools, all of them will be turned into public institutions and job holders will be absorbed
3. Abolition all coaching systems and exams that sustain such industry. Education will be a prolonged process to develop professionals.
4. Combate heat by stopping deforestation and afforestation of all barren land by using tech.
5. Turning energy sources to Green Energy.
So much talk about China soybean demand, but it is a long story of how China evolves over the last half century
China once had a robust domestic soybean industry — the world’s largest producer and net exporter until the mid-1990s.
In the 1980s, as U.S.-China ties normalized, Monsanto seized the opening. It introduced high-yielding, pest-resistant GMO seeds (Roundup Ready technology) that promised massive yields with less labor. Chinese farmers, chasing profits, rapidly adopted the superior seeds. Once hooked on the tech and its performance edge, Monsanto jacked up seed prices — locking farmers into annual purchases of patented seeds they couldn’t save or replant.
This created over-dependency: traditional non-GMO varieties were sidelined, local seed companies struggled, and domestic soybean-growing capabilities were effectively wiped out. Farmers shifted land to more profitable crops like corn, while cheap imported GM soybeans flooded in after WTO accession (2001) slashed tariffs. Domestic output stagnated.
Meanwhile, China’s economic boom triggered a protein explosion: rising incomes made pork a daily staple (demand skyrocketed for feed), and the nation’s love for tofu, soy milk, and traditional soy products added huge pressure. China now crushes 100+ million tons of soybeans yearly.
Data snapshot (2025):
• Domestic production: ~20.9 million tons
• Imports: ~108 million tons (record levels, ~84% of total supply)
• Self-sufficiency rate: stuck at ~16%
By the early 2010s, China woke up to the dangerous over-dependency on imports (initially dominated by the U.S.). Trade tensions (especially the 2018 U.S.-China trade war) forced a strategic pivot to diversification:
• Brazil now supplies ~70-80% of imports — reliable, massive volumes from expanded farms.
• Growing imports from Russia, Argentina, and others.
• Chinese companies invested billions in overseas soybean farms worldwide (especially Brazil and Latin America) to secure supply chains directly.
From Monsanto-driven seed dependency and domestic wipeout to a smart, diversified global sourcing strategy — China turned vulnerability into resilience. A masterclass in agribusiness adaptation
Despite daily news on Iran War, China trade talk, Trump’s real focus is to ensure not to lose Nov midterm election. Loss of both House and Senate means 2 year of lame duck presidency and non-stop impeachment hearing
In order to achieve midterm win, Trump needs to turn around his low 30s approval rating, show improvement in economy and lower interest rates to support growth and the asset bubble. Where can he get this?
If China buys soybeans, his base in Midwest will be happy
If China buys Boeing planes, the economic impact will be huge
If China exports rare earth, US MIC and industries can do well
If Iran opens up Strait of Hormuz, oil price comes down and lower inflation allow Fed to cut rates
That is why meeting with Xi is so important. But Trump knows he has no card. Tech war he started led to China bypassing US suppliers in tech. Trade war he started led to China diversifying its export and still achieved record trade surplus. Military demonstrations in Iran revealed structural weaknesses of US military (lack of ability to sustain a prolonged war)
That is why US has been trying to create bargaining chips
1. Venezuela - cut China oil import
2. Panama - cut China ports access
3. Iran - cut China oil import
4. Indonesia - control of Strait of Malacca
5. Nvidia H100 H200 - control Chinese AI
6. Sanction Chinese teapot refineries - impose long arm jurisdiction on Chinese companies
China reacted swiftly
1. Venezuela- stop buying Venezuelan oil
2. Panama - order Maersk and MSC to withdraw from, operating the ports in question, tighten Panama registered ship inspection, leading to ship owner move their registration elsewhere
3. Iran - China emerges as the mediator for the conflict, adding bargaining chips when negotiate with Trump
4. Indonesia - China has been planning to peacefully bypass Strait of Malacca with Gwadar and Kra Canal. China military can easily reach Strait of Malacca and open up if needed. But if closing Strait of Hormuz has limited impact on China, closing the Strait of Malacca will also impact US allies more than China
5. Nvidia is officially ignored by China. DeepSeek V4 model is using local chips and H200 has not been sold in China. China also block Meta acquisition of Manus, clearly blocking US access to Chinese tech in return
6. China forcefully order Chinese citizens and companies MUST not comply with US sanctions. Any violation will be illegal and be prosecuted in China. China is very clear if US wants to engage in a financial war by shutting down the financial institutions behind teaport refineries, China will escalate further and a full blown economic war will come, Trump can forget about midterm election
At this point, Trump did not create any more card for himself, but handed the Iran card to Xi. The only remaining card is Taiwan. However, China reiterated multiple times Taiwan is an internal matter, it is not for foreign countries to intervene. Arms sales to Taiwan maybe irritating, but it will not make any difference if there is a military conflict. Beijing would welcome Trump to officially denounce Taiwan Independence and support peaceful reunification, but know Trump cannot given the hawks back home
So, we may see a lot of talking points by Trump in claiming a win in his meeting with Xi, there is very limited he can achieve. The best maybe a status quo with no further degrading of the relationship with China.
Israel kills journalists and aid workers intentionally, in their full consciousness, and in precision murder. Israel is the biggest terrorist regime who is holding Judaism as protective shield.
Israel has killed 1000s of people.
Displacement millions.
Demolished 100s of homes.
When I told my mother that Iran has agreed a ceasefire on US-Israel illegal, criminal and arbitrary war, she told me she has been praying for the Iranian people. "The war has stopped". Maa said,"Last night I offered Salatul Hazat for them". +
Absolute horror on Al Jazeera. Live footage confirms the US and Israel are actively following through on threats to bomb civilian railway lines in Iran. Rescue workers are desperately pulling innocent commuters from the wreckage. These war crimes are sickening.
💢 THREAD: Iranians form human chains around power plants and bridges as Donald Trump warns “a whole civilization will die tonight”
As Trump issued his most explicit threat yet, videos circulating online show civilians gathering around power stations and key infrastructure across Iran in acts of solidarity ahead of his 8 PM deadline.

What Khera referred to as H/Riniki Bhyuan Sarma Asset Collective LLC, details are not available.
Also, it doesn't explicitly prove RBS as the owner
Terrifying reality check. Al Jazeera confirms the US and Israel have bombed over 760 schools and 350 health centers in Iran. They are intentionally obliterating mental health hospitals and residential markets. The scale of these war crimes is absolutely sickening.
What they tell: Shiiat ideology, dogmatic Islamist ideology, communist ideology, liberal ideology.
What they don't tell: Liberal ideology is Christian-capitalist oligarch ideology.
@DeKoderAI@PrannoyRoy7749 AGP is BJP's ally. Miss Kunki is contesting with an AJP (Assam Jatiya Parishad) ticket. Her family owns many higher educational institutions and she is foreign educated. That's how she got the ticket. All the best to her.
They never said anything condemning the Israeli and US brutal murderous regimes. The whole world knows it was Israel-US attack to kill Iranians and take over the country by force just like the colonisers did in 19th century.
Good call yesterday with @Keir_Starmer.
We discussed the situation in the Middle East and the Strait of Hormuz.
Iran’s actions are putting global economic stability at risk.
We will work with our partners to ensure freedom of navigation can resume as soon as possible.
We also discussed the upcoming EU-UK Summit.
A key moment to deliver on last year’s commitments and further strengthen our partnership.
The most stupid regime of the US appears so uncivilized against this Iranian letter to the people of the US. For stability, peace the US war regime must be changed. Proceedings for war crimes must be initiated against the present illegal US war regime.
Attacking pharmaceutical factories represents yet another dimension of their criminal sanctions—the very same sanctions that have long deprived Iranians of life-saving medicines.
This is a blatant war crime & crime against humanity.
Those who try to distract public attention from the realities of this illegal war by obsessing over the price of oil and groceries should be careful not to become complicit in these atrocities.
