Boeing 707 low pass at Mashonaland Flying Club Air Day in Harare Zimbabwe back in 1995. First pass was around 400 knots at extremely low altitude followed by a second slow pass at 125 knots with flaps 40. Seeing a jet that size moving that low and that fast is unreal.

BREAKING: It has now been confirmed that the U.S. Navy alongside the U.S. Air Force conducted a series of airstrikes against IRGC Navy, Iranian Navy, and Iranian Air Force military sites in Bandar Abbas, Qeshm Island, Larak Island, Sirik, and Jask during the early hours of Monday, May 25, 2026.
The first strikes began between 03:00 and 04:00 local time, targeting IRGC Navy infrastructure and maritime warfare assets near the Strait of Hormuz. One of the main targets was south of Larak Island, where at least three IRGC personnel — Abbas Eslami, Ghodrat Zarangari, and Abdolreza Golzari — were killed.
The operation reportedly targeted IRGC Navy mine-laying boats, missile launch positions, radar sites, coastal-defense batteries, drone facilities, ammunition depots, and fast attack craft infrastructure intended for operations in the Persian Gulf and Gulf of Oman.
Several hours later, the strikes expanded toward Bandar Abbas. At approximately 23:40 local time, multiple explosions were reported near the airport, Iranian Air Force facilities, and military zones in the eastern side of the city. Iranian air defenses became active around 23:45 local time.
Additional strikes were also reported around Sirik and Jask, both key locations for Iran’s coastal missile and maritime operations outside the Strait of Hormuz.
The operation appears aimed at suppressing Iran’s maritime warfare capabilities, including naval mine deployment, anti-ship missile activity, maritime drone operations, and IRGC Navy swarm boat tactics.

❗🇬🇧🇷🇺 A Russian military aircraft intercepted a British RAF Rivet Joint spy plane over the Black Sea, flying within six metres of the surveillance aircraft and triggering its onboard emergency systems, according to the UK Ministry of Defence.
The British, naturally, described it as "dangerous and reckless" while also confirming the crew "completed their mission safely, the plane landed without incident, and nobody was hurt."
The MoD also helpfully reminded everyone that the Rivet Joint is a "specialist reconnaissance aircraft equipped with advanced electronic surveillance sensors" - essentially admitting they were running an intelligence collection operation on Russia's doorstep and are upset Russia reacted.
