The person who is interviewing him is a so-called Ayurvedic surgeon and a vile troll on Instagram.

Can anyone tell me what is Ayurvedic in what they are doing?

Can you see how insulting this is, to the tens of thousands of students who clear real medical entrance post graduate exams to become surgeons, spending time, money and their whole lives dedicated to the work...

...and these pseudoscience frauds with a side degree are allowed to sit at the same table as those hardworking surgeons across the country.

No other country dehumanizes and degrades it's doctor community like India does. So congratulations if you are a doctor in India. You are basically on the same page as quacks and frauds with a degree in ancient bullshittery, allowed to be glorified by the pseudoscience sympathizing government.

Chief Minister Joseph Vijay's decision to induct Vijayabaskar into his party is disappointing!

I don't think Vijayabaskar's induction into @TVKPartyHQ would have happened without the approval of the Chief Minister, who is also the party head. If it had happened without the Chief Minister's knowledge, then it would be even more dangerous, as it would raise questions about his command and authority over his executive.

Dr Vijayabaskar did a great job during COVID. But that does not mean he is clean and honest. He, along with the rest of that cabinet, was among the most corrupt during the ADMK rule from 2017 to 2021. Everything about Vijayabaskar's corruption is available in the public domain.

When Chief Minister Joseph Vijay thundered in the Assembly that he would not spare anyone who was corrupt in the past, everyone, including myself, developed a great deal of hope, amusement, and optimism. But Vijayabaskar's induction into the party comes across as a disappointment to many.

It is still not too late. I request the Chief Minister not to give Vijayabaskar any prominent position in the party or the government. Let him work his way up. Let him also be answerable to all the allegations against him regarding corruption during his tenure as Health Minister.

In my quoted post, I wrote that if this government makes mistakes, I will be the first to attack and criticize it. Here I am, calling a spade a spade.

In a different context, an Indian customer of some of our products told me recently "A big Microsoft Office license renewal came up and they hiked the price drastically. We told them we are looking at the Zoho office suite and they dropped the price by 90%" - he thanked me for saving them big money, even without buying our office suite. If you are facing renewal of Microsoft Office license, I suggest you mention Zoho.

Some history: Microsoft is a convicted monoplist by a US Federal Court (April 2000) and the monopoly finding but not the suggested remedy was upheld by the U.S Court of Appeals (DC circuit) in 2001. Microsoft has a long illustrious history of milking the customer dry (see the AI link below for details).

Competition is always important. The fact that American AI models have serious competition from China is important for India and other countries.

Finally, I am now confident that India will catch up in AI models. There is no reason to be despondent. There are multiple efforts going on in academia and industry and the cost to train AI models is starting to fall. Recently I met people from the BharatGen team (IIT Bombay) and they are making great progress. I will write more about BharatGen soon.

We had nauseating, disgusting levels of corruption in Tamil Nadu under the DMK. This is known to the entire Universe, not some grand secret.

It reached such Himalayan heights, their own Finance Minister, someone not corrupt who was caught up with the corrupt crowd, was complaining about it (sadly for him his remarks became public and he was demoted to became the IT Minister).

This is not about ideology.
Even the Marxists of Kerala, then allied with the DMK, would say how deeply corrupt the DMK was.

I have always appreciated people like Shri Balagopal, the former Finance Minister of Kerala, for his devoted public service. I am sure he and I will not agree on political philosophy or ideology but I deeply respect him.

If the DMK truly wants to introspect, they must start with their corruption.

Instead, they spend their time attacking a messenger like me as a TVK stooge or a Brahmin or a Sanghi and so on.

May be they can study Kural 423: focus on the message, even if the message comes from a "Brahmin Sanghi TVK stooge" like me:
