After 6 months, I’ve received a voice message from my mom and my 7 years old brother from #Tigray today. I am really tired of living, frfr they both sounded so tired, they have been displaced so many times during the last two years. It’s just too much for me at this point.
Our bro from Dallas was shot to death by our enemies. May God rest him in peace. He was a real hero TDF. He was Mekalstina and alwaays there for our people. I find it hard to believe he is gone too soon. Our people are dying not just in Tigray but around the globe
Reported from Shire #Tigray that #Eritrean troops took food from a WFP store which was meant for the IDPs in the city. Also received report that troops of the allied forces killed three young people this morning in Shire.
Tigray has lost over 200k civilians to starvation. Lost thousands of combatants. It wants peace, but not any peace.
Tigray wants a just and fair peace mediated by neutral parties.
A peace that is dictated by Abiy, suits his regime survival, disadvantages Tigray is not viable.
Tragic scenes from #Tigray, Ethiopia. Almost daily drone attacks on civilians. Civilians should be protected. We call on Eritrean & Ethiopian forces to end the war, end the siege, & provide access for humanitarian & health aid. Innocent lives, including children's, are at stake.
The pain to millions of Tegaru crosses the ocean. I lost my beloved mom few days ago. I can't call my dad & siblings to mourn with them, or learn about her cause of death. Of course, in the absence of medicine & other supplies, who can be spared?

This breaks my heart 💔 Eritrea & Ethiopia have a lot of debt to pay. Where is over 100k people expected to shelter in this cold season? What will they eat? So much for the we stand for human rights mantra from @StateDept. You extended our suffering longer than it should’ve.
