Which habit are you restarting?
Missed a few days of your habit? Here's how to restart, in 3 steps.
1. Don't wait for Monday. Waiting can turn 3 missed days into 7.
2. Restart today, small. Even 2 pages count.
Read 20 pages a day?
That's 7,300 pages a year, about 24 books of 300 pages.
Skip one day a week and it's still 20 books.
Save this for your reading goal.
How many books did you read this year?
Never get around to your habit?

Can't make yourself go to the gym?
Listen to your audiobook only at the gym. In one study, gym visits rose 51% at first; a bigger study still found 10% more workouts months later.

The next @HabitKit update will be awesome. Incorporating a huge amount of user feedback I gathered over the past couple of years! This will be the BEST habit tracking app out there 💯
One month off. Does it last?
4 weeks off Facebook: a month later, people reported using it 22% less than those who stayed on.
Dry January: people drank less 6 months later, even those who slipped.

Plan your skip days before you need them: in studies, goals with a few planned skips kept people going longer, even after a slip.

Don't wait for January. Start one habit today and you're 12 weeks in by New Year: the five parts of a habit, drawn out. Send it to someone who's waiting for January.
See your habits add up. One tap a day, one square for every day you show up.
Look back a month when you need proof it's working. Write one line on the days that were hard. Check your numbers once a week.
Implementing a killer feature for the next https://t.co/JugcX6gEQT update: Automatic iCloud backups. Users have been waiting for this for so long now, sorry about that!
So don't quit on day 22: give a new habit two months before you judge it.

HabitKit 1.18.1 is live on the App Store! Now you choose what happens to completed habits. Tap the filter button at the top right of the overview and pick one:
• Show in place: everything stays where it is, like before.
• Sort to bottom: finished habits move below the ones still open. Check one off and it moves down a moment later.
• Hide: finished habits disappear for the rest of the day and come back tomorrow. "Show completed" lets you see them any time.
