@LassStats@MikeBartner You do know that Slavin just won a cup while playing some solid hockey defensively? Stop being bias man. Both Lindell and Forsling are great but Slavin still remains the better D
@GrumpaDotCA Roy, Mesar and Tuch aren’t good enough! The only thing holding Farrell down is his size. I believe he can play in the NHL. Just needs an opportunity. Engstrom, Reinbacher and Beck are NHL ready imo.
@MaiettaSports Absolutely NOT !
Once he gets more than 2 years on his deal, he takes it easy until he’s playing the last year of his deal. Watch him sign another 1 yr deal. Teams won’t trust him enough to sign him on a multi year deal. The Habs don’t need a player like Mantha !
@aaronstratton8@NHL_AaronWard@_JordanDecker I agree with you on that part that sometimes, guys go out there to completely nuke others when they can simply let the hit happen.
Clearly, Cozier took advantage and went for the nuke job. I didn’t like it but that was free game.
Happy Slaf came back from that hit
@aaronstratton8@NHL_AaronWard@_JordanDecker I’m pretty sure, you wouldn’t put yourself in that type of situation to get flatten like that. I also play hockey and if you give me a free shot like that, I’m not asking twice !
@bunchofnbrs1235@NHL_AaronWard@_JordanDecker It’s the impact of the hit that drives him upwards. He did nothing wrong. Unfortunately, the fault goes to both Carrier and Slaf himself. Thankfully, it was Cozier and not Sabourin. Could’ve been way worst!
Can we put the narrative that Slaf drove this line to bed already? Suzuki makes people around him that much better. Watch Bolduc score 25-30 off of Suzuki feeds.
That line was electric last night. They’re just getting started 🔥
Slaf had some good moments as well
#GoHabsGo
@CameleoThe@habsfanaticss He’s a good player and all but he needs to focus on every aspect of his game including offensively.
Let’s hope it starts tonight !
@CameleoThe@habsfanaticss So we drafted a defensive board merchant 1st OA? To add to it, he’s making 7.6M/year to be a solid 3rd & 4th assist guy? We’re good with what he brings now?
We gotta have higher standards than that for Slaf. I want to see him play physical while producing pts.
@habslvrr@CanadiensMTL I’m really not sure where you read that fans influence the direction’s decisions in my post. You said, “If Struble was better than Xhekaj, his spot wouldn’t be in question”. I replied, it’s only in question for US fans. It’s not in question for the organization.
@jesuspricesaves@CanadiensMTL If he’s just a fill in, I honestly doubt MSL sits Xhekaj in favor of Struble every chance he gets. We’re severely undervaluing Struble. Again, I’d love to see the analytics between the two
@habslvrr@CanadiensMTL If that’s the point you’re making, then yes, I agree, Xhekaj should be in the lineup. The real “issue” here is changing a winning lineup. That’s the part that surprised me. But I do agree, between him and Struble lately, Xhekaj deserves to be in. Struble is still better though 😉
