@Scott_Az@ontoaccount2@domluszczyszyn@ianwcanucks Make the posession rule as ambiguous and up to interpretation as goaltending interference and Dobson's goal counts just as much as that nonsense first goal in game 5. Irrelevant because they'd probably lose the series, but could see the wind taken from their sails on that call.
Rule 69 says "If an attacking player initiates contact with a goalkeeper, incidental or otherwise, while the goalkeeper is in his goal crease, and a goal is scored, the goal will be disallowed." So why was Carolina's opening goal in Game 5 vs. the Canadiens allowed to stand?
Yes the Habs got dominated in the ECF
That doesn’t take away from the fact they dominated the Sabres and hung with the Lightning for 6 games before that game 7
Acting like this run was just all luck is very disingenuous #GoHabsGo
@PShearer91@BlueDuece2@domluszczyszyn@goalcauf Not really. They were gassed and ran into a wall. Games 1 and 3 plus the regular season sweep vs Carolina showed that it's possible to be selective/opportunistic and beat them. They were an offside challenge away from splitting the first 4 games.
