@CanadiensEh Bro just wants mid lol
Greer is a 4th liner on a team that the entire bottom 6 comeplete
Marchment and Jenner are low end 2nd line forwards
Powerforwards are the most overrated player archetype in the NHL right now
Fans will overlook skill and IQ and go straight for the tough and gritty players. Like the difference in team average height and weigh is less than 5% either way
In 2026 and the foreseeable future, it’s about defensively responsible forwards and great passing Defencemen.
Look at the 2 teams in the finals. They don’t have powerforwards in their top 6, but they have TWFs and 6 Dmen that can pass the puck
Yes the younger crowd live downtown
Those players like McDavid will be on brossard like Price
I imagine Hutson moving there soon. It’s just a certain player type that wants the quiet and closer to the practice facility
The reason I know this McDavid story is a joke is that the rumour is he was looking for a house in Brossard. Hello! The players now live in Old Montreal, Griffintown, Westmount. If you are going to make up a fake story at least make it credible.
If it meant acquiring McDavid, I’d easily consider swapping Matheson for Nurse in the trade
Would look like this
Zharovsky
Matheson
Dobes
Kapanen
2027 1st
2028 1st
For
McDavid
Nurse
@MurphysLaw74 How so? Cause he can see the obvious that the team was tired because they couldn’t close series
And that’s after he himself being a big reason why they couldn’t close series
He’s bad. And will be the reason why the Habs lose games in the future
Just a reminder to Oilers fans
If McDavid is traded, his return will be much lower than what you’d expect a player of his calibre to receive
No team acquiring him would gut their core for a single player. McDavid would be an addition to the core
The trade would essentially be draft picks and prospects with mid tier roster players
