There are different types of leagues but the most typical one is a snake draft and a head to head point. So on the snake draft you follow an order if you go 1st on the first round you go last on the second and and it works basically like a normal draft pick by pick. Then you can change people on your roster with the ones available. Then once the season starts you compete with another person on the league one-on-one based on points. Every players wins points based on their performance on the league (saves, points, assists, shots, etc ) (For example I've added one of my matchups that'shead to head)

So basically your roster is your team, you need to have more points than the team you're competing against, it runs though the season and the best in division go to playoffs.

My Preseason Takeaways

- Top players seem in good form
- Montembeault seems to be back
- Kreider is fitting in well
- Caufield can still score 50
- Hutson is somehow better
- Reinbacher & F. Xhekaj are NHL ready
- Most of our AHL acquisitions are looking good
- Mittelstadt is a nice surprise
- Dach needs a fresh start elsewhere
- Danault is the best 2C we have currently & had a good camp
- PK needs work
