@Hugin_1977@AlexHollings52 If the US wants to deny sale/use of GE engines in Gripen, that'll just reinforce the necessity to avoid US defense products throughout the western world & drive European options even further
@AlexHollings52 Order books are packed for Rafale & Typhoon. Also, stealth isn't a NORAD requirement. You're ignoring the glaring political problem of the US becoming an enemy of the west. Europe is replacing & dumping US military options wherever possible as they've become utterly unreliable
@sidseixeiroshow@Sid_Seixeiro Fyi. This is a non-story in Montreal. Everyone saw Carolina own them and saw where they need to improve. Fans were happy to get that far, sad but not disappointed in them.
@AlexHollings52 You continue to struggle with why Canada is moving away from US defense products where possible, especially on the F-35 that hasn't shipped combat-ready jets since 2023. The end goal for Canada will ultimately be GCAP, buying the cheaper stopgap in between.
@IrishWhiskeyMag@WineCKilkenny@KillowenWhiskey 125 Euros for juice that's only 5 months beyond the minimum to be called whiskey? Pricing on limited releases are simply tone deaf at this point.
@WUTangKids They'll probably go with German subs but point taken. Even if the US built non-nuclear subs, Canada wouldn't buy from them. Australia is going to find out the hard way.
@Bill_Linnane Could you please put an asterisk next to all the Irish distilleries quietly sourcing product? John Teeling recently said 60% of them use Great Northern. Personally, that gives me similar vibes to Scottish sourced "Japanese" whisky until very recently. Trust comes at a cost.
