Applications for SummerHacks are due this Friday! In light of the effects that Covid-19 has had on summer plans, UT Austin’s Freetail Hackers are hosting SummerHacks—a 12-week hackathon from May 26th - August 14th!

We are also looking for mentors with a strong technical background to guide students through technical and career questions throughout the summer. This is about a 2-3 hour/week commitment!

From the people behind HackTX, Freetail Hackers are excited to announce SummerHacks, a 12-week hackathon from May 26th - August 14th for college students and current high school juniors and seniors to form teams and create a technical project throughout the summer!

Throughout the hackathon, we will have lots of events for both social and professional development. Teams will be paired with experienced mentors that will guide the team through their projects, which will then be presented at the end of the 12 weeks for prizes!
