Yesterday we released a press release regarding the life saving actions of our officers. Today we are proud to share the photo of the members who worked together to make it happen.
Through teamwork, training, and quick action, these officers worked together to help save a life.

The Hackensack Police Department is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as full-time Parking Enforcement Officers for the midnight to 8:00 AM shift. This position offers a starting pay of $17 per hour, health benefits, paid time off, and State Pension enrollment.

Members of the Hackensack Police Department and our Honor Guard attended the funeral of Newark Police Sergeant Joseph Azcona, who was tragically killed in the line of duty. Sgt. Azcona dedicated his life to protecting and serving his community, and his loss is felt deeply by all.
On March 10, 2025, the Hackensack Police Department participated in the IACP Police Family Support Training in Anaheim, CA. In partnership with the Motorola Solutions Foundation, this gathering brought together dedicated attendees, to advance initiatives supporting LEO families.
