Lady Hornets pull away from Lady Bulldogs with six runs on six hits over the fifth and sixth frames to secure themselves a spot in next weekend's state title game for the second straight season. Hackett won the 3A title in 2024 and will have the rare opportunity to win back-to-back state crowns in different classifications against a foe that is no stranger to a state championship atmosphere in Riverside, the 2023 2A champs and 2024 2A runner-up.
