The billionaire class can pour millions into elections, but they cannot buy the support of the people. Peggy Flanagan has shown that.
Today in Duluth, we're getting out the vote with Peggy and Keith Ellison to keep Minnesota fighting for working families. https://t.co/16hYenOnyA
Not going to bother sounding particularly insightful here, but the older I get the more i'm like, "wow, animals are incredible." I'm donating to some animal charity like once a week at this rate. they got me.
Vote blue no matter who was always for centrists. It meant vote for which we candidate they wanted and only those candidates. If it’s a progressive, then they don’t have to do the same thing they yell at us to do.
And the centrists have shown themselves to be hypocrites.
Trump’s goal is to intimidate me and get me to back down.
That’s not going to happen.
I will not be silenced, and I will not stop fighting for my constituents.
Hasan Piker explained why he will always defend Ilhan Omar. It's so wonderful seeing someone be so outspoken about their support for a Black woman who is so frequently dissected by the media and the Trump Administration:
"Ilhan Omar is unfortunately in a similar predicament to someone like myself; bold, brave, real fighter. She has her constituents and allies, but even within the Democratic Party, there's not that many of them.
I am proud to stand by Ilhan Omar's side and I will do so every single day of the fucking week. These people oppose her to begin with. They oppose her because she's a Black woman. They oppose her because she's hijabi. They oppose her because of her refugee background, and most importantly, they oppose her because of her opinions. That's precisely the reason why Trump is going after her."
"I support the rights of trans women because I'm a girls' girl," says AOC. "The right to choose over our bodies is the right to choose over our bodies."
It’s disheartening that people in my party were waiting with baited breath to find a way to demonize Ilhan after her home was raided while she is going through this administrations baseless witch hunt. But they have no problem asking for her help w/ turnout. I am sick of how you all treat her.
“For moderate Democrats, “party unity” is only a goal worth pursuing to bully the left wing of the party to fall in line with their preferred candidate. When it’s on them to step up and vote for someone who might have different goals, that’s another story completely”

Hasan Piker on Amy Klobuchar and Angie Craig condemning and trying to cancel his planned event with Ilhan Omar and Omar Fateh:
"I have a lot of fans in Minneapolis. Minneapolis is one of the more radical, Democratic base of supports in the country. I'm willing that there are more people deeply invested in the party in Minneapolis that are fans of mine than fucking Amy Klobuchar, you know what I mean?
I'm so tired, man. I'm tired. What you do not realize is this: When you make a big deal about a narrative that is entirely reactionary, designed to cause an outrage cycle in Minnesota, as a Democrat, even if you like your big donors, you should privately assure that we are different than one another; we're not fans of each other, but it's a big tent and we gotta defeat Donald Trump.
These guys [centrist Democrats] think there is this broad, anti-Hasan sentiment bubbling up. They do not see that these attacks only make them look like they're deeply out of touch and deeply out of step. Klobuchar, you're going to win. It's going to be a blowout victory. What are you doing? This is your time to actually lean in to your base.
I'm just so tired. The Somali community is constantly under attack by the exact same forces that are trying to present me as this big danger and you have prominent Democrats in this state leaning into it. Disgusting."
