These aren't the "official" rules but just suggestions, if anything we want to avoid the need for the @emfcamp org to make a rule at all. That would mean something has gone wrong and no-one wants that.
Be safe, have fun, and see you all soon!
For anyone attending @emfcamp and intending to bring a DIY vehicle for getting around site, we've put together a voluntary code of conduct and a few recommendations. We want everyone to have fun, but safely, and don't want any injuries

Please register even if you've told us you're coming, we need these details for our records. If you don't register and just turn up, we can't guarantee entry in to any of the races.
If you're coming to EMF 2024 and haven't registered, get it done! We need to know how many transponders we'll need, how much space in the pits, and how many buttons on the moxie board!

If you are coming to any of our events and intend to race, especially @emfcamp, we need you to register ASAP! We can't plan what we need otherwise and you risk turning up and not being able to race.
Get it done!

I'm at the NEC for @Makers_Central this weekend with @Hacky_Racers . I've brought four racers this time! Thanks to @Worlds6440, @robberwick for the loan of their racers.
It'll be the first event for SideHustle (the trike/sidecar), and our first event under @ourmotorsportuk !
After racing at 'Car at the Farm' @Hacky_Racers event we are stripping down DM aka death machine and we are giving it a #makeover to include rust conversion, paint job and a new look! @tomcorteil
Great day with @Hacky_Racers at #carsonthefarm testing out FPV on Babe the pig using #stereopi to an Oculus Go headset. Great view at short range, but WiFi limited us to only about 10 metre range to my headset, which we need to resolve. Bigger racers were fantastic to drive
Yesterday was a bit of a mixed day, destroying a display, two DC-DC converters and a CAN bus module but in the end got the monitoring of the VW battery working in CircuitPython on a Pico. The cell values are in mV and realtime 😁. What happened voltage overload when switching on!
Now cutting bits for our @Hacky_Racers battery pack with the water jet cutter. Could have just manually done this but it's a good project to familiarise myself with the Wazer.
Finally, and most importantly: Moxie! This is voted for by the audience and the results were tight:
3rd: Bigger Trak
joint 2nd: CYBR TRK and Babe
joint 1st: Hammer Mouse and Chugga Boom
Congratulations to all our winners!
In the full size Hacky Racer classes, @MarkMellors 's Rule Zero did some remote/FPV driven demo laps but didn't compete.
For the piloted class:
1st: ACDC by @BodgeCharger
2nd: Death Machine by @tomcorteil@jedifodder & @CannonFodder
3rd: CYBR TRK (@EmfRoamer)
