Gospel of the Day (John 6,35-40)
Jesus said to the crowds, "I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me will never hunger, and whoever believes in me will never thirst.
But I told you that although you have seen (me), you do not believe.
Everything that the Father gives me will come to me, and I will not reject anyone who comes to me,
because I came down from heaven not to do my own will but the will of the one who sent me.
And this is the will of the one who sent me, that I should not lose anything of what he gave me, but that I should raise it on the last day.
For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in him may have eternal life, and I shall raise him on the last day."

I once attended a wedding Mass where the couple came late and the groom struggled to stay awake all through the Mass. In my conversation with them after the Mass, I got to understand that they had gone to bed late the night before because they were celebrating with their friends.
I’ve just heard the sad story of a young nigerian man here in uk who suddenly died last week June 6, 2024 of a cardiac arrest.
His name is Damola Ilesanmi.
He just graduated from the university of bradford very close to where I live. He was meant to start work with the uk national health service this week before he suddenly died.
He leaves behind a wife and two children.
Please kindly help donate towards his burial and supporting his young bereaved family in this trying time.
Here is a link to donate.
Even if you may not have money,
Please kindly share and retweet this. It would only take you 1second to repost but you will help someone else who can donate to see it.
Pls let’s help Damola’s grieving family.
