Here are some of our amazing butterflies showing off their fab phonics! https://t.co/W20XdZVvqo This week we begun Phase 3 and learnt four new phonemes: j, v, w and x. All of our 🦋and 🐛have worked so hard this week, what a great first week back! We’re so proud of them all 🌈

⁦@Haddon_Primary⁩ ⁦@BeardallFrith⁩ we found unusual things growing in our orchard today. We looked closely at the patterns and shapes of the mushrooms and fungus. We continued to learn how important it is to wash our hands after investigating on a welly Wednesday!

This morning our 🦋 and 🐛 met @mrsbloorteach’s Rosie the red hen! They loved finding out all about Rosie and were brilliant at retelling the story of the Little Red Hen to her. What a lovely morning 🐔 🌈 @Haddon_Primary

Welly Wednesday allows so many practical learning opportunities. It gives us the chance to observe how clever our 🦋 & 🐛 are and how they can apply and make connections in their learning 🥾🥾

We've had a lovely Welly Wednesday in FS2, bug hunting, den building and enjoying some messy letter writing. All finished off with a hot chocolate and cookie! We can't wait for next Wednesday already! @Haddon_Primary
