NEW PETITION - End the mandatory fortification of white flour with folic acid immediately
"We call on the Government to stop the fortification of flour with synthetic folic acid. Folic acid is a medicine not a food. We believe it is unethical to mass medicate the entire population without their knowledge or consent in the hope that a minority group of people might see a benefit...."
‼️CALL TO ACTION - Please SIGN and SHARE widely ‼️
Let's get this to 100,000 signatures and force a debate in Parliament.

Black pilot, West Point graduate, and combat veteran Wesley Hunt delivered a masterclass response:
“Hey Jasmine… Black pilot here.
I graduated from West Point. I went through Army flight school. I learned to fly the AH-64 Apache. I deployed to combat and flew 55 combat missions over Baghdad.
Nobody handed me a cockpit because of my skin color. Nobody lowered the standards for me.
Suggesting that Black pilots, engineers, doctors, or leaders need special preferences to succeed is not empowering, it’s insulting.
I didn’t want a different standard. I wanted the same standard.”
He ended with a powerful line:
“Merit isn’t racist. Excellence isn’t discriminatory. And reducing every achievement to skin color says far more about your worldview than it does about mine.”
This is the kind of clarity and backbone America needs right now.
The headline takeaways from the Bloomberg Brexit analysis published today:
⚫️ The NBER 8% figure is garbage
⚫️ The Customs Union would add less GDP than the value of the UKs trade deals that it would lose
⚫️ The cost of membership in 2028 is higher than the expected GDP add
Please sign this petition to end the addition of the synthetic drug folic acid to our flour.
It's being added with the claim it might prevent ~200 neural tube defects.
The trial that claim is based on resulted in 9 dead babies per 'saved' child.

Reform UK isn't a threat to LGBT people.
The real goal is ending special treatment and putting everyone on the same footing.
No DEI preferences. No favoured groups. No hierarchy of identities.
One standard for everyone. Equal treatment under the law.
That's not discrimination. That's fairness.
Reform is for everyone.
🚨 Miliband Crumbles When Asked the One Question That Matters: How Much Would UK Net Zero Cool the Planet?
Lee Anderson asked Energy Secretary Ed Miliband a simple, direct question in Parliament:
“If Britain went Net Zero tomorrow, by how much would global temperatures fall?”
As the man in charge of our energy policy and one of the most vocal champions of Net Zero, Miliband should have had the answer at his fingertips.
Instead, he stood up and delivered pure waffle, dodging the question entirely with vague rhetoric about “British leadership” and how the 2008 Climate Change Act supposedly inspired the world.
No numbers. No data. Just ideology.
The truth is uncomfortable: it would make virtually no difference.
The UK accounts for less than 1% of global CO₂ emissions.
Even if we shut down every emitting industry, household, and vehicle overnight, the impact on the planet’s temperature would be negligible, too small to measure meaningfully.
Meanwhile, the world’s biggest emitters aren’t playing along: China (1st), United States (2nd), and India (3rd). Together they dwarf our output.
While we’re crippling our own energy costs, driving up bills, closing industries, and exporting jobs and businesses overseas, they continue expanding fossil fuel use to lift their populations out of poverty.
This isn’t “saving the planet.” It’s self-harm dressed up as virtue.
We’re sacrificing competitiveness, energy security, and working people’s livelihoods on an evidence-free fantasy.
Here are two other UK power records:
1. Highest industrial energy costs in the world.
2. Second highest domestic energy costs in the world.
As E Miliband says, we’re setting an example for the rest of the world. Indeed we are. Which is why nobody is following us.
Trevor Phillips Exposes Labour’s “Cheeky” Claim To Immigration Success – It’s Nothing To Do With Starmer!
Darren Jones boasted the government is bringing numbers down. Phillips hit back: student numbers are steady, asylum claims still ~88,000 (pretty much same as last year). The actual drop in legal migration? That’s down to Conservative visa restrictions Labour opposed.
“It’s a bit cheeky for you to claim this success as yours,” Phillips said.
Jones waffled, dodged, and couldn’t answer, because he knows Trevor is right.
No wonder Labour have been oddly quiet about this “success”. If it was theirs, they’d be shouting it from the rooftops.
‘Net migration’ is a misleading measurement, because it is produced by subtracting departures from arrivals.
The ONS estimates that 813,000 people immigrated to the UK last year, with 627,000 (77 per cent) of them arriving from non-EU countries. These included 138,000 Indians, 56,000 Pakistanis, 54,000 Chinese and 47,000 Nigerians. Meanwhile, 642,000 left the UK – including a quarter of million British nationals and 118,000 EU nationals.
This represents substantial population change – almost 400,000 Brits and Europeans left this country last year, to be replaced by 627,000 migrants from some of the poorest countries in the world. This matters because all populations are not equal.

So much for standing up against Russia. We pay them for oil we could drill for ourselves, so they can buy weapons to fight Ukraine, that we fund to buy weapons to fight Russia! Make it make sense?
“I’m with the listeners here - it’s just baffling.”
The government’s decision to loosen sanctions on Russian oil is “so egregious”, Sir Trevor Phillips can’t believe there isn’t an explanation behind it.
Listen to The Times at One with @TrevorPTweets from 1pm on Times Radio.
All the rumours.
All the slurs.
All the hysterical accusations aimed at Nigel Farage.
And now it turns out he likely doesn’t owe any tax at all.
Another failed attempt at character assassination from people desperate to destroy him politically.
This has backfired spectacularly.
A worthwhile read in the Daily Telegraph today, from their Deputy Economics Editor Tim Wallace.
"It is hard to imagine any sensible observer from 2016 seeing the economy today and declaring Brexit to have been a calamity".
Well said Tim. We agree 100%.
