@BarackObama@davidaxelrod@MichelleObama Feeling sad for losing Sunny, but as we all acknowledged that our pets can not be alive as long as humans cause it’s a dog 🐕. We love pets as family.
25 years ago, America Came Under Attack.
Radical Islamic terrorists hijacked planes and flew them into the Twin Towers overlooking New York City and the Pentagon just outside of Washington, D.C.
Above Pennsylvania’s skies, everyday Americans fought back and brought their plane down in the humble fields of Shanksville – saving untold lives.
That plane was likely headed to the U.S. Capitol. Those heroes may have saved my life.
2,977 innocent souls perished that day, and countless lives were forever altered.
But the American spirit remained unbroken, and our enemies would hear from us soon.
"Tonight, as we stand on the edge of our 250th year of independence, I am thrilled to declare that AMERICA IS BACK... This is our heritage, this is our history, & this is the destiny of America: to be the greatest, most incredible country to ever grace the Earth." - POTUS
Each year, Pepperdine’s “Waves of Flags” honors the 2,977 lives lost on September 11. On the 25th anniversary of the terror attacks, @DouglasEmhoff and I visited the installation to pay our respects.
We also dropped by LACoFD Station 88 to commend these brave firefighters, who have responded to three of the most devastating fires in southern California in the past decade. September 11 was the single greatest loss of first responder lives in our nation’s history, and with this small act we honor those heroes.
