@jam73e I’m not in the market and any professional for that matter for a hand plane where you have to phone for a price! Lie Nielsen are expensive enough but are really good tools, I hope to be able to pass them down with some of my grandad’s and great grandads stanley/Bailey planes

@jam73e That is pure madness! I like spending money on heirloom tools, I have a Veritas block plane and apron plane. They are really nice and where £230 and £120 respectively. I can’t understand how he can charge that and make a living? As no one in right mind would buy one

@CrippledCyclist That sucks! Sorry to hear this happened! If you are running tubes muc off have released a sealant to go inside inner tubes, I have been using cafe latte sealant in my tubes and has been pretty good

@charlottevslife @xlibbyx If it isn’t the correct steel it’s not a huge deal to take out and put correct one in, I would get a local trusted builder in if it’s not, get a few quotes and negotiate taking the amount off the value. Then you can move forward and get it done properly knowing you have the money
