Intentional work on habits of character into PE. Before a game/activity… discuss what it SHOULD look, sound, feel like. After…. Reflect with class. How did it look, sound, feel? Leads to great discussion.
ABC countdown for our Titans started today. A - Appreciation day. Shoutout to our elementary teachers giving students the opportunity to let their teachers know how much we are appreciated! #TCU2905#TitanPride
@CoachMatheson I closely align my norms with the whole school norms. Students are familiar and are able to apply to various situations in school either in the home room classroom or specialist classrooms. Consistency is important at #TCU2905
Yesterday our 5–8 grade students at TCU Le Center PreK–8 met Career Day speakers for an inspiring afternoon. They heard real-world stories, explored career paths, & asked thoughtful questions. Thank you to all guest speakers for investing time in our students—your impact matters!

@CoachMatheson I used to use @Mentimeter polls. Since the features I used to like and use are now apart of a paid subscription, I switched to google forms. First 5 mins students know they have a to get set and fill out the “daily questions.” Helps a ton with SEL, CFU ?’s, & assessment!
🌟 Jessi Johnson, 2nd-grade teacher at TCU Le Center PreK–8, is a dedicated educator and leader. Her creativity, initiative, and strong relationships foster a positive school community. Jessi’s passion for supporting all students stands out. Stay tuned.
