It is with a heavy heart that I have to announce that the autobahn go kart track has in fact ultimately decided to close the location we use due to covid they broke lease contract and are closing immediately.
When life resumes we already have a backup location in the works.

@GlowStickHusky I looked into it before they even opened. They charge more for a group rate and a private room than you could even imagine. The place we were at before cut us a deal where we got the room for free as long as we had at least 30 racers

@mixedcreaturez Likely much closer to where Kiran and I live. Which is much closer to Boston. Meet was close to two hours from where we live

@Nighteyes_Wolf We fully intend on hosting the same meet in a different location in the future when covid is more controlled, the name of the meet will change for obvious reasons but it will be the same meet

We were assured they were not going to close however they eventually decided it was in their best interests.

@Sorrel_Pandoth @puptimistic @remygryph When we spoke to the managers of the venue of autobahn they said they had like a 15 year contract, longer than anyone else in the mall

@puptimistic Also if they close we will relocate anyway, we were already looking at newer venues if possible

@puptimistic As far as we know they have a contract with the location for a very long time and i assume like most contracts if they break it they would have to pay the remaining lease for the business anyway. They are part of a chain and from what I know they are one of the more popular ones

We hoped that 3 months would be enough time where people are allowed to be in gatherings and be social again but sadly this was not the case. As soon as we are able to host an event we will make you all aware ASAP until such time. We love and miss all of you fuzzies! Be safe!💙

PSA All those who are traveling to us this evening please be aware that UMASS Amherst is celebrating Blarney and it is a major party night and there are thousands of people walking around inebriated. Please be cautious of people walking around
