On Monday, Hadrian was invited to take part in a Celebration Concert organised by Inspiring Music, held at the Grove Theatre along with other local schools. The BBC also came along to film some of the rehearsals and the event featured on Look East news. A brilliant evening!
The children had a great time at their Coronation celebration on Friday wearing red, white and blue. We had a fantastic time watching the Year 3s do their Maypole dance and also the Year 4s Morris Dancing. We finished with a whole school rendition of Pat a Cake dance...
It was Hadrian's Got Talent Show on Friday 21st April & we had lots of amazing entries. We were honoured to have on our judging panel the Mayoress of Dunstable. The winner was Ellis Tearle from year 4 who is a most beautiful & talented dancer. Thanks to Miss Dyos for organising.
Our wonderful Hadrian Academy choir had a fabulous time at Wembley yesterday (7th Feb 23) performing in Young Voices. Thanks to all the staff and parents who helped make it a very memorable experience for these lucky children. Their singing and behaviour were exemplary!
The fruit sale at the morning mile was very successful and we will do it again next week. More people came than ever before, walking and enjoying fruit.
This week has been Book Week at Hadrian Academy and lots of exciting activities have taken place. Please see photos attached of some of our winners of unusual places to read a book! Have a great half term and we look forward to seeing you all again on 31st October 2022 😀
Today, the children from Hadrian Academy took donations to St Katherine’s Church who will be donating it to the food bank. Thank you to all parents for their generosity and to St Katherine's for welcoming us all so well.
Our Year 4s had a fantastic residential visit this week to Grafham Water where they stayed for three days. They enjoyed lots of activities including sailing, archery, biking, climbing, orienteering, bushcraft, canoeing to name but a few! The children loved this rewarding trip!
Today some of our older pupils were presented with their Trumpet medals and certificates from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, London. We are ever so proud of them and so happy that we offer this tuition at Hadrian Academy. Well done to everyone involved!!

Today, the Hadrian Academy community were saddened by the passing of her Majesty the Queen. She was such an inspiration to us all. Hard-working, enthusiastic, devoted to her life of service - what an outstanding lady! Adieu and to Gigi (10.10.20) too xxx
Congratulations to our Year 5 who got a silver medal in the British National Age group finals. It's wonderful to see how our children 'shine' inside and outside of school.
