As soon as our candidates take their comfy (and fairly intimate!) seats @hexhamtv will be livestreaming the civil conversation at St Mary's, Ovingham. High expectations from me!
Deeply saddened and bereaved by the news this morning of the death of Jeremy Hardy. I am merely a devoted listener and my heart goes out to all those much closer to him. I can't do Brexit without Jeremy. Or any other politics or news, it feels at the moment.
Jeremy Hardy "retained to the end the principles that guided his life: trying to make the world more humane, and to be wonderfully funny", his publicist said
@VirginTrains My principal issue was very poor communication and lack of support from the train manager. Your response to my tweet is also poor communication: your emphasis is "it wasn't our fault" but should be "we're sorry you're having a bad experience tonight". Empathy is vital to cx.
@VirginTrains Your 21:43 from Euston tonight has been terrible. Ever later, with no support from the train manager for connections and no announcements on timings until I told her she needed to do that. I will be 90mins late getting home thanks to your leaving Euston 10mins late.
Just asked a @Virgin_TrainsEC conductor if he receives commission, while he was insisting a polite woman behind me pay for a brand new ticket because she got on my train after hers was cancelled. Answer: yes, 5%
Wow. #VirginFail

Hurrah for this week's column! Not the last clause ("spoils"?! "winning"?!) but huzzah and thx for the rest of it! Rejoicing!! From 'a woman who thinks like a man', per early career complement from senior boss-person. (Male.) (Did I need to add?)
'White on the Wall': still some debate about whether #HadriansWall was painted or limewashed, but today it's lichen (from lovely clean air!) https://t.co/w3fSrzmlrG
...and so began the story of Hadrian's final ascent to power...either legitimately or with a bit of trickery. Either way, a good result imho https://t.co/zoBhtSlVEb
