The policy was issued to all NJ school districts:

• Parental consent is not required for gender transitions at school
• School must keep a child's transition secret
• Schools can facilitate counseling to help families "affirm" a child's gender delusion
• Boys can invade girls' sports
• Boys can invade girls' bathrooms and locker rooms.

The entire state of NJ should be stripped of federal funding until this policy is removed.

WHAT GETS LOST IN THE PIED-À-TERRE TAX DEBATE: THESE PEOPLE ALREADY PAY PROPERTY TAXES.

The entire “fair share” argument starts from the premise that owners of expensive second homes in NYC somehow aren't contributing.

They already pay property taxes on those properties whether they spend 365 days a year in them or zero.

A pied-à-terre tax isn't about finally making these owners “pay their fair share.” It's about deciding that the taxes they already pay aren't enough and imposing another tax because the government has identified a politically convenient group that it believes can afford it.

And somehow the conversation never turns to the other side of the ledger:

What is NYC doing with the enormous amount of property-tax revenue it already collects?

Before inventing another tax, maybe we should be asking whether government is delivering a fair share of value for the taxes New Yorkers already pay.

American has operated a family farm in Butler County Ohio for nearly 100 years

The family farm constructed a building to sell things like wine and cucumber salad

Butler County zoning came out and filed a lawsuit against them, saying their new building wasn’t allowed

The family farm won the lawsuit. But of course it didn’t stop there

Butler County zoning sent out another guy, then the whole commission board held a vote and voted to appeal the lawsuit and keep going after the family farm

US government is literally out of control

I found the real reason why the county cares

Rezoning or reclassifying the operation as primarily commercial would increase the family farms property taxes on the affected building and parcels
