Why so few Western feminists have stood up against Israel's killing of women and children in Gaza?
Is it hypocrisy? Asian activists tell @sheanyyas and me it's also racism and white supremacy.

South Korea is a country run by older men.
Below, a gathering of leaders and senior officials from national and local governments.
Not a woman in sight.
Some exciting news: "Flowers of Fire," my book about South Korea's #metoo movement, will be officially released on March 7, 2023- a day before the International Women's Day! After more than 4 years of reporting & writing, it's such a thrill to know this book will be finally out.

It was marvelous to have Dolly de Leon, Ke Huy Quan, Guillermo del Toro, Jerzy Skolimowski, Claire Denis, Davy Chou, Park Ji-Min, M.M. Keeravani, Bill Nighy, Cate Blanchett and many other LAFCA honorees in the same room last month. Here's the full video of our awards ceremony.

- editors asking for articles without pay
- other journalists stealing your ideas
- being asked to share sources you've worked so hard to develop trust in
- not being credited

Another year, another horrific unprovoked attack against an Asian American simply going about their day, another community in grief.

Tired.
