I have served at NAFDAC for nearly a decade and dedicated years of my career to the fight against counterfeit and substandard medicines and unsafe food products.

My work in this area earned me the NAFDAC Director-General’s Merit Award in recognition of my contribution to the fight against fake food and drugs.

Mr. President, I am not asking for a favour. I am offering competence, experience and a proven commitment to the national interest.

Make me the Director-General of NAFDAC, give me the mandate and the institutional backing, and I will take the fight against counterfeit medicines and unsafe foods to an entirely different level.

Within the first six months, I will target a minimum 60% reduction in the circulation of counterfeit and substandard medicines and unsafe regulated products, with the ultimate objective of driving the menace to the barest minimum within one year.

Nigeria does not lack capable professionals. Sometimes, what is needed is simply the courage to put the right person in the right place.

Give me the mandate. Give me the tools. I will deliver.

Nigeria deserves a stronger, more effective war against fake drugs and unsafe foods.

May the Almighty bless his zeal, but the wudu is invalid.

When people see a video like this, emotion takes over. It looks like peak devotion, and nobody doubts the sincerity of his heart.

However, the religion is not built on theatrical hardship. It is built on divine knowledge. When you look at what happened here through the lens of classical Islamic jurisprudence, the soldier erred on multiple levels.

First of all, there is the fundamental difference between washing and wiping.

In the four major schools of thought, wudu requires water to flow over the limbs. That is what defines washing. If you pick up dry snow or crushed ice and rub it across your arms or feet, you are wiping. You are not washing.

For snow to count as valid water for wudu, it must melt from your body heat into liquid and physically run across the skin, leaving a visible trail of flowing droplets.

Rubbing cold snow over your skin like powder leaves the obligatory areas unwashed. If the limbs were never washed with liquid water, the wudu does not count, which leaves the prayer invalid.

Second, the Shariah gives us concessions specifically so we do not harm ourselves.

Taking off combat boots to plunge bare feet into freezing snow is unnecessary. Islam established the concession of wiping over leather socks and boots.

If he put those boots on while in a prior state of purity, all he needed to do was pass wet hands over the top of the boots. There was zero legal need to expose his bare feet to subzero conditions.

Third, what happens if the cold is so severe that melting snow or using freezing water risks frostbite, tissue loss, or severe illness?

The Shariah steps in with Tayammum. Dry ablution with clean earth exists precisely for these moments. Preserving your physical body and protecting your health is an obligation. Causing bodily harm to complete an act of worship is rejected in our tradition.

The Prophet (peace be upon him) made this clear when he approved of companions who used Tayammum on bitterly cold nights instead of washing with freezing water.

Fourth, standing barefoot on ice to pray is another misplaced burden.

Praying in clean boots or shoes is completely permissible. The Prophet (peace be upon him) and his companions regularly prayed in their footwear.

Sincerity is precious, but sincerity without knowledge leads to self-inflicted harm that Allah never asked of us. The deen is easy, practical, and designed to protect both our faith and our bodies.

My first time engaging your tweets was about cats, where I agreed and said I have over 50 cats on my street. I also remember when you talked about how complex and superior the Yoruba language is in handling large numbers.

I concurred with you and gave more analysis as to why I go with Yoruba mathematics in numbers over Arabic. Ifesola, who is among the traditionalists, even noted that it was the first time he had seen me talk good about Yoruba. That is not true, but it shows my initial engagements with you were never hostile.

My grouse with you only started when you tried to import what does not belong to Islam into the religion. That is where I draw the line. In every rejoinder I did, there was nowhere I attacked your personality. My rejoinders are strictly on the topic.

You claiming my intention was not pure is an overstretch. You took offense to a comment, but does me saying "He thinks it is goat and sheep" mean I have committed a crime?

You claimed I sneaked the word "sex" into the Garden of Eden post to suit a narrative. That’s not true. I was directly addressing the very euphemism you were implying in your own tweet.

Maybe you should go and read my rejoinder again. My analysis is well in line with scholarship. If you had anything contrary, or if you felt I sneaked the word "sex" into the conversation, you could have raised the issue then.

Let me use this medium to explain why I refute what you say regarding my faith. The answer is straightforward. You are a big account here. People know you are well grounded in research. It means people are highly likely to run away with what you say.

If you post something inaccurate about Islam, people can unintentionally consume it as facts. You may not even know you are making an error. I have nothing against you. It is strictly in defense of the truth.

This is cheap blackmail and a very weak attempt to defend him. Saying his tweet did not need a response is a ridiculous position.

When someone publicly broadcasts a flawed ideology that contradicts a core pillar of our faith and misleads people, it is an open invitation for a public dismantling.

This nonsense about nothingness after death has been hovering around this app for a while now. I am one of the few people who have openly and consistently crushed that narrative every single time it rears its head. I will not sit back and watch people use Kufr to catch cruise while validating the illusions of the uninformed.

My response was never insulting. I called him a coward because I saw right through his deceit. He deliberately set me up for his followers to drop their lazy tropes in his comments.

You claim he was not interested, so why was he throwing all those tantrums? The videos, the shades, the ridiculous demand for me to prove my sanity and show my surroundings? A disinterested person does not do all that.

He is dodging the debate because he knows he lacks the intellectual depth to defend his stance. I engaged to clear his doubt because he assumed I was just some random person he could use for cheap engagement.

Let’s talk about Ilham.

İlham in its true Islamic definition, is a divine inspiration or a clear thought Allah places in the heart of a believer to guide them toward what is right.

However, in our local context, charlatans hijacked this concept and turned it into a dark commodity known as "iso-ye" or a spiritual brain booster.

The process usually involves writing specific obscure texts on a wooden slate, washing it off, and drinking the ink. The texts are usually fractured portions of the Quran mixed with Talsam, which are mystical symbols, numbers, and geometric grids. These symbols are heavily pulled from esoteric occult books. E.g: Shams al-Ma'arif.

In doing this, they involve the Jinn. The practitioners try to invoke specific servant Jinn known as Khodam. So, when they use specific talismans and chanting hidden names, they aim is to bind these Jinn to aid the person's memory.

Sometimes they call upon Jinn associated with specific planets or days of the week. One of them is Shamhurosh, who is usually called upon to act as the spiritual engine for the charm.

Note that the physical process is quite dangerous. Like I said earlier, they write these sigils on a wooden slate, usually called a Wallo, using a specific ink.

The ink is a mixture of saffron, rose water, and sometimes native elements like ewe iyeye. They wash these writings off the slate with water and the person drinks it. This concoction is what is locally called hantu.

The street myth claims that if you consume a dose of this charm that surpasses your physical age, your brain will short-circuit and you will go mad. This is what the guy was subtly attributing to me. lol 😂

The truth is that the madness comes from the spiritual ruin. Inviting Jinn into your mental space shatters your natural cognitive balance. It is pure shirk. You are handing your intellect over to dark arts instead of relying on the One who created the mind.

People who are intimidated by a sharp intellect often look for a supernatural excuse to explain it away. The great Islamic scholars who memorized thousands of narrations did so through intense discipline, abandoning sins, and relentless revision. They did not hack their brains with magic ink.

By Allah, I didn't use ilham.

To the anonymous guy who wrote this: my mental capacity is the result of the grace of Allah, brutal intellectual labor, late nights reading, and my mother’s efforts (I will share this someday).

Stop attributing nonsense to me. May the Almighty heal you and others like you of envy.
