Today Dune reaches millions of users and serves thousands of businesses including many of the world’s largest financial institutions - we’ve come a long way from humble beginnings!
@antoniogm An underrated benefit of Switzerland is great access to top producers from all the best wine regions in the world due to geographical proximity and many long time wealthy buyers. So allocations to importers and restaurants is probably best in the world after France.
At some point I felt like half of software engineering candidates I interviewed had built their own task management tool as a side project.
Incredible how @linear has become a category winner in an absolutely crowded field with a ton of both established players and upstarts.
All the while breaking a bunch of "Silicon Valley rules" like actually being profitable along the way, don't preach 996, SaaS thriving in AI era etc.
Part of why the software industry is so interesting is because even when the market seems so saturated and competitive you can have breakout successes like this!
