I am extremely blessed and honored to announce my commitment to Marshall University, where I will continue my academic and athletic career at the next level. First and foremost, I want to thank God for blessing me with the opportunity to play the sport I love. I would like to thank my mom, dad, sister, and the rest of my family for always believing in me, supporting me, and making countless sacrifices to help me reach this point. A special thank you to Coach Ciao and the entire Berkeley Prep coaching staff for investing in me both on and off the field. I am also grateful to the Berkeley training staff for helping me develop as an athlete and preparing me for this next chapter. To all of the trainers who have worked with me throughout my journey, thank you for pushing me to be my best every day. I would also like to thank my teammates—your support, competition, and brotherhood have played a huge role in shaping me into the student-athlete and person I am today. Lastly, I want to thank the entire Marshall football staff for believing in me and giving me this incredible opportunity. Go Herd! 🦬💚

@Trace_Johnson94 Speaks volumes too that they never cared about the team and teammates and was only worried about themselves. For example, what if their backup plays and misses an assignment and another teammate gets hurt cause the player skipped the bowl game you know??
From player ➡️ to coach! We are excited to announce Peyton will be joining the Women’s Basketball Staff!
