@BNYglobal@Citadel@citsecurities Settlement within minutes puts the collateral clock in focus. The ledger position also needs to map back to the repo record and cash movement, so operations can reconcile what moved and when.
@allpaypayz A required wager before withdrawal makes the deposit-to-payout trail worth examining. Linking a payout request to its deposit reference can help isolate funds under review and give support a precise reason for a pending withdrawal.
@financialit_net Real-time risk evaluation across markets still needs a payment-level action. Map the result to authorisation, review or decline, and retain the reason with the transaction so a later dispute can be traced back to the decision.
Mexico received $65.1bn in remittances in 2025, down 4.2% from $67.9bn. First annual fall since 2013, after eleven straight years of growth.
It is the only decline among the 20 largest recipients. The world total rose 6.4% to $925.6bn. World Bank data; 2025 values are estimates.
@SoFiTechSol Knowing why a transaction was flagged matters when the decision reaches a customer. Pass the relevant signal with the payment record so reviewers, support teams and merchants can explain a hold and assemble dispute evidence without guessing what the model saw.
39,455 US money-transfer and wallet complaints reached the CFPB from 1 Oct 2025 to 14 Oct 2026. 7.7% closed with monetary relief, 13.7% with relief of any kind.
Fraud or scam: 28.8%, the top issue. HaiPay count of the public database; complaints are not verified by the bureau.
CISA's median deadline to patch a known-exploited flaw: 21 days in 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025. In 2026: 3.
Of 134 entries added since June, 106 carry 3 days and none carries 21. HaiPay count of the KEV catalogue, v2026.10.13. Binds US federal agencies only.
@richardturrin Tokenised assets still settle against bank balances. The handoff needs a posting reference that links the asset movement to the cash entry; without it, reconciliation gets harder as settlement paths diverge.
@oost_marcel@Mastercard Offline approval only settles the immediate checkout problem. The authorisation record also needs to survive until connectivity returns, so clearing can be matched to what the card and terminal approved locally.
@SoFiTechSol A hybrid card programme needs clear ownership when settlement does not match the transaction record. The exception has to reach the team that can resolve it, or the customer experience remains owned in name only.
@pymnts Connecting treasury systems to payment rails and controls still leaves a gap if the payment reference drops out. Carrying that reference into the bank statement lets teams trace a cash movement back to the decision and control behind it.
NEWS: Saudi Arabia's central bank licensed another money changer, and put the published total at 64.
Our read: A money-changing licence covers buying, selling and exchanging foreign currency, plus currency import and export. Which of those 64 can receive and settle a merchant's order funds is a separate question — and SAMA publishes the list to check against.
