Only 24 hours after Russian drones sank a civilian ship off Romania, two more commercial ships have now been targeted by drones off Bulgaria.

One vessel was sunk inside Bulgaria’s exclusive economic zone, with its crew still unaccounted for. A second was set on fire, forcing all 18 crew members to evacuate. Two were seriously injured.

Yesterday, two Russian drones targeted the Turkish-owned Royad Mammadov inside Romania’s exclusive economic zone, sinking the grain ship. Two crew members were killed and 11 were rescued.

Russia also targeted Ukraine’s border with Moldova yesterday. A projectile from the Russian attack hit near the Palanca border crossing, ricocheting into a passenger bus and control booth and injuring a Moldovan border guard.

Three countries in little more than 24 hours.

Putin is expanding his war beyond Ukraine’s borders, deliberately putting civilians, international shipping and neighboring European countries in the line of fire.
