When using peer feedback a good tool is using prompts. The prompts should be structured yet open to feedback,and include open ended questions.Its important to not tell students to 'just read over each others work', instead give them something to follow for peer work.#396FlynnS22
In Deans writing they express the importance of teachers responses to peer feedback. It is a good idea to leave at least one good comment about where the writer took their peers advice into their assignment. #396FlynnS22

@angelatranud Hi Angela! One way we can help our students experiment with different writing is assigning different types of literature and writing, like more modern pieces, so they can witness different types of writings for themselves as reference.
