After four meaningful years as Israel’s Ambassador to the EU & NATO, my chapter in Brussels is coming to an end.
I’m truly grateful for the friendship and support we felt from the EU — especially in the difficult times after October 7th.
My heart is with the families of our hostages, and I pray for their safe return🎗.
I also look forward to the day we can fully focus on building an even stronger future for EU–Israel and NATO–Israel relations🇮🇱🇪🇺.
Wishing my friend and successor, @avraham_nir, the very best of luck in this important mission.
Ambassador @HaimRegev in his final interview with @POLITICOEurope - “Israel is the only player in the region that serves directly the interests of the EU.”

This is the entrance to the Israel Embassy in The Hague this morning.
This is what dangerous incitement and lies against Israel look like.
This incitement against Israel has already claimed the lives of two workers of the Israeli Embassy in the U.S., and in the Netherlands itself, this resulted in a pogrom against Israelis just a few months ago.
This incitement must be confronted with the full force of truth.
On August 11, 300 trucks carrying humanitarian goods entered Gaza through the Kerem Shalom and Zikim crossings, and over 270 trucks were collected and distributed by the UN and international organizations.
Additionally, tankers of UN fuel entered for the operation of essential humanitarian systems.
We will continue actively facilitating humanitarian aid for the civilian population, not Hamas.
Humanitarian summary Aug. 10:
🚛📦Aid entry: Over 280 trucks entered Gaza through the Kerem Shalom and Zikim crossings.
🛻📦Aid collection: 300 trucks were collected and distributed by the UN and international organizations.
⛽️Fuel: Tankers of @UN fuel entered for the operation of essential humanitarian systems.
✈️📦Airdrops: 131 pallets of aid were airdropped in cooperation with the UAE, Jordan, Germany, Belguim, Italy, The Netherlands and France.
We will continue expanding our efforts to facilitate humanitarian aid for the civilian population of Gaza.
Elkana Bohbot is still being held hostage by Palestinian Hamas.
His wife Rebecca and their son are waiting for him.
This Tu B’Av, the Hebrew holiday of love, we remember the families torn apart by terror, and the love that endures despite it.
He belongs with his family not in Hamas tunnels.
LET HIM GO NOW🎗️
Beware of fake news.
A joint investigation by @SZ and @BILD reveals how Hamas uses “Pallywood”, staged or selectively framed media, to manipulate global opinion.
At the center is Anas Zayed Fteiha, a Palestinian photographer for Anadolu and an open Israel- and Jew-hater, whose images are designed to evoke pity and fuel outrage. Despite his bias, his photos are published by major outlets like CNN, BBC, and Reuters.
With Hamas controlling nearly all media in Gaza, these photographers aren’t reporting, they’re producing propaganda.
This investigation underscores how Pallywood has gone mainstream with staged images and ideological bias shaping international coverage, while the suffering of Israeli hostages and Hamas atrocities are pushed out of frame.
Ariel Bibas should’ve turned 6 today.
Instead, he was kidnapped and murdered by Hamas with his mother Shiri and baby brother Kfir.
Stolen from us all, we will never forget you.
50 hostages are still in Gaza.
LET THEM GO NOW. 🎗️
The recommendation by the European Union’s College of Commissioners to undermine Israel’s participation in a component of the Horizon program is mistaken, regrettable, and unjustified.
At a time when Israel is fighting Hamas’s jihadist terrorism, any such decision only serves to strengthen Hamas and therefore undermines the chances of reaching a ceasefire and a framework for the release of hostages.
Israel will work to ensure that this recommendation is not adopted by the member states, and we hope that will indeed be the case.
Either way, Israel will not yield to pressure when it comes to its national interests.
We echo Foreign Minister @gidonsaar’s remarks to HRVP @kajakallas, stating that “Hamas is waging a campaign of lies, while deliberately creating friction between the civilian population, the aid distribution centers and the IDF.”
🚨 A major report from @ncri_io exposes how Hamas-linked propaganda has quietly and quickly become some of the most cited voices in media coverage of Gaza.
There’s A LOT to unpack here. Let’s dive in. 🧵
A thread.

Great to meet my friend Hungarian @FM_Szijjarto in Brussels.
I gave him the Dinah Project report on the sexual violence, rape and genital mutilation - committed by Hamas on Oct. 7th. Everyone must read it. Hamas must be held accountable for these crimes.
I thank Hungary for their unwavering support for Israel in Europe and on the international stage! 🇮🇱🇭🇺
