Watch our 2 month long investigative report detailing the Federal Government’s war on Al-Shabab terrorists.
This intriguing program contains the scope of repeated Al-Shabab attacks on encircled military bases, their facilitation, inside information & the lack of intelligence.
#UPDATE: Reliable sources confirm that today, the leaders of Somalia's National Intelligence and Security Agency have dispensed funds to ensure media blackout of the brutal attack on Jaale Siyad Academy, a site heavily guarded, and which is a base to the October 14th Brigade which was redeployed from the Lower Shabelle region.
Local media representatives report that prominent individuals have orchestrated these efforts, intending to divert public attention away from this incident that targeted military personnel.
Federal government leaders have notably refrained from expressing condolences for the loss of more than 20 Somali soldiers in the attack.
#UPDATE: The Minister of Internal Security of the Federal Government, Mohamed Sh Doodishe, who is a member of President Hassan Sheikh's faction, has allegedly allocated varying salaries to more than eight of his family members, including his siblings, since his appointment.
1- Abdifitah Firin: A cousin of the minister, Firin receives a salary from the minister's secretariat.
2- Rahma Farasade: The minister's maternal sister, Farasade draws a salary despite not residing in Somalia.
3- Samatar Shiraar: The minister's nephew, Shiraar is paid and listed as an adviser. He is based in Nairobi and receives payment most of the time.
4- Abdimajid Hassan Galeyr: The minister's maternal cousin, Galeyr earns a salary in the capacity of the minister's assistant and is located in Mogadishu.
5- Hassan Ali Firin: The minister's uncle, Firin is compensated for his services as a driver.
6- Omar Jabiiba: Is the minister's maternal uncle, Jabi is paid as the commander of the minister's special guards.
7- Warsame Mohamed Hassan: The minister's paternal cousin, Hassan receives remuneration in his role as a department director in the Ministry of Internal Security.
8- Abdifitah Mahali Sheikh Hashi: The minister's nephew, Hashi was hired and assigned to the Immigration & Nationality Agency of the Federal Government.
#GAYLANMEDIA: We continue to track consultants and other members who are paid through different government agencies. We are committed to maintaining accurate data for verification purposes.
Mr. @M_Farmaajo warned us that there is a competition between Patriotism vs Qabyalad and Qaran Dhis vs Qaran Dumis (corruption and nepotism) and asked the MPs to choose wisely, but unfortunately, the MPs chose Qabyalad and Qaran Dumis, and we can now see what he warned us about!
#UPDATE: The Somali Minister of Trade & Industry, Jibril Abdirashid Haji, denied allegations yesterday of employing his relatives in the ministry he oversees and the Somali Bureau of Standards. However, we have received information that contradicts the Minister's claims.
Our team at #GaylanMedia discovered that nine of the recently appointed employees are closely related to the Minister of Commerce. We are also examining the cases of six other individuals who have been employed as business attaches at Somali embassies abroad.
The following individuals have been identified:
1. Guled Mohamed Rashid Aden: Appointed as the Director of the Department of Certificates, he is the minister's brother-in-law as well as his cousin.
2. Abdifitah Mohamed Rashid Aden: The minister's brother-in-law, he was listed as a ministerial employee despite reports of non-attendance.
3. Salwa Mohamed Rashid Aden: The minister's sister-in-law, she has been appointed as the Commercial Affairs Officer of the Omani Embassy in Somalia.
4. Isaaq Abdirashid Haji: The minister's brother, listed as a driver and a Senior Advisor at the Tayadhawr Agency.
5. Abdirashid Haji Abdiladif: Appointed as the Head of Internet Services, he is the minister's nephew.
6. Abdinasir Noor Ibrahim: A senior advisor who draws a salary from an undisclosed source, he is also a relative of the minister.
7. Warsame Mohamed Abshir: Listed as an Officer for the Certification department, he is relative of the minister.
8. Ali Ibrahim Mohamed: Assigned as the minister's special guard and a consultant who receives a salary from the Somali Bureau of Standards.
9. Abdullahi Abukar Mohamed: The Minister's brother, listed as a Senior Adviser who receives a salary from two sources.
Moreover, ten members of President Hassan Sheikh's family, including those closely associated with him, have been employed by the Somali Bureau of Standards led by Haawo Ahmed Hassan. Haawo is married to the son of President Hassan Sheikh.
#UPDATE: Highly reliable information is emerging from the Ministry of Finance, implicating senior officials appointed by President Hassan Sheikh, and the Auditor General. This information suggests rampant corruption within the administration.
1-There are significant discrepancies in the inland tax collections of the Ministry of Finance in the Banadir region. Typically collecting $12 million monthly, the ministry reported only $4 million in collections this month. The discrepancy isn’t due to uncollected funds; the money has reportedly been misappropriated by presidential loyalists. This issue has led to the dismissal of the finance minister. Additionally, twelve tax receipt books, designed for recording tax collections not deposited in government accounts, are missing.
2-The tax system and financial activities of the Somalia Financial Management Information System (SFMIS) have been entirely halted. This marks the second occasion where funds failed to reach the Ministry of Finance, instead ending up in an unauthorized central repository. SFMIS, a globally recognized monitoring system, has essentially been disabled.
3-Both the Auditor General and the Director of Revenue of the Ministry of Finance have overstepped their roles, taking over account monitoring duties from the newly appointed Director of Inland Taxes.
4-The Accountant General, who is a presidential loyalist, has intimidated senior officials within the Ministry of Finance due to his perceived power, leading to a climate of fear within the Ministry. Today, senior officials in the Ministry were lining up to meet him and win his support.
5-The Director of General Revenue has been given the authority to track financial inflow and outflow, but seems to be evading commitments agreed upon with international partners.
6-The Auditor General has allegedly been contacting Directors of the Ministries and the Heads of Administration and Accounts, demanding bribes under the threat of corruption charges. This new approach appears to be a form of systematic extortion
I want to sum up the two main points of Former President @M_Farmaajo statement:

Speaking in Entebbe, Uganda during the Extraordinary Summit of the Heads of States of the troop-contributing countries to the African Union Transition Mission in Somalia, President @WilliamsRuto, commended the joint regional forces for ending the unrest & instability in Somalia.
For years, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has been attempting to install its own proxy force, the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), as the sole army of Sudan.
The aim is to remove the existing military and replace it with the RSF, which operates outside of Sudanese army command and is under direct control of the UAE.
Evidence of this plan can be seen in Somalia, where the elite forces and military trained by Turkey, such as Gorgor and Haramcad, are being gradually replaced by newly-trained UAE private forces. The private forces underwent weeks-long training in Uganda, and it is believed that the UAE is attempting to erase Somalia's existing military and replace it with its own forces.
This plan mirrors the UAE's failed attempt in Sudan to replace the regular military with private forces. Somalia appears to be the UAE's next target for implementing its military strategy, but the RSF's objectives and ambitions are a cause for concern for Somalia and other countries in the region.
The UAE's aggressive strategic plans and policies have raised concerns about its intentions in the region and beyond.
The move to install its own forces as the sole army of other countries could potentially destabilize the region and harm existing diplomatic relationships.
The situation in Somalia and Sudan is one to watch closely as the UAE continues to pursue its military ambitions.
